2nd day makeup.

Tuesday, September 30, 2008

Lets be honest. How many times have you just skipped the makeup remover, and gone straight to bed with a mask of color on? I don't do it often. I'm usually really good about washing my face anytime I've painted my eyes or fluffed my cheeks with mineral powder. But sometimes, my pillow just sounds so much better than a cotton ball with oil free mascara clean up on it, ya know? And its the mornings after, when I sit up in bed and think "oh god, could my eyelashes be any heavier?", that I realize how sexy 2nd day makeup is. Not to mention 2nd day hair. Today... is not one of those days.

Oh, and a big fat kiss on the cheek to Miss kathysmash this morning, who so kindly surprised us with a flattering blog feature *SMOOCH*.

I try not to do that too often also. I am not sure I wake up feeling sexy however LOL. I usually look like a raccoon.

The worst is when your eye lashes stick together from the mascara. Ew.

I never wash my face. Even when I shower I don't wash my face. I don't take off my make-up until I get out of the shower. I used those make up remover wipes. Then 10 minutes later I put make up right back on. I'll probbaly get wrinkles faster because of this.

I hate washing my face before bed!! I don't wear much make up (just mascara and eye shadow), but still...

Ladies, the best mascara remover I've ever used, is Nutrogena oil-free makeup remover. I've used it for years now, and its never failed me.

Seems like I forget to do this most of the time. My husband doesn't even mention the racoon look anymore.

I'm hoping it becomes a fashion trend.

Great blog feature--congrats!!

As far as being a sight when you wake up having neglected to remove the day's warpaint, I'm just going to have to throw this one back at 'ya!--

"Lady, you're sure lookin' good. And you're incredibly talented. A combination I can't resist." LOL!!

Smiles, Karen
